Confocal Laser Microendoscopy for Clinical Diagnosis of Early Gastric Cancer and Gastric Intraepithelial Neoplasia
Gastric cancer is a malignant tumor with a very high fatality rate, which is extremely harmful and disturbing.
Gastric intraepithelial neoplasia (GIN) is a symptom of gastric cancer. If not treated in time, it will turn into
early gastric cancer. Confocal laser microscopy is the most advanced microscope technology, which is of great
significance for the diagnosis and observation of early gastric cancer and gastric intraepithelial neoplasia. The
purpose of this article is to study the specific effect of confocal laser microendoscopy on the clinical diagnosis
of early gastric cancer and gastric intraepithelial neoplasia. From 2017.6-2019.8, patients with gastritis, gastric
intraepithelial neoplasia and a total of 20 early-stage gastric cancer patients have the image of the research pair.
Under the condition of obtaining the patient's consent, all patients will be subjected to general microendoscopy.
After the patient's status is adjusted, the confocal laser microendoscopy will be performed, and the study will be
conducted according to the relevant diagnostic criteria. The results of the study showed that the accuracy of
confocal laser microscopy in the diagnosis of early gastric cancer was 96.3%, the sensitivity was 92.5%, and the
specificity was 97.6%. The accuracy of distinguishing gastric cancer lesions from non-cancerous lesions was
95.8%. The detection accuracy of intraepithelial neoplasia was 94.9%. It can be seen that confocal laser
microscopy can effectively distinguish gastric cancer from non-cancerous lesions, thereby accurately diagnosing
early gastric cancer and gastric intraepithelial neoplasia.
