Clinical Study of Microscopic Ultrasonic Technique in the Treatment of C-shaped Root Canal System

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the clinical efficacy of microscopic ultrasonic technique in the treatment of
C-shaped root canal system. A total of 328 patients admitted to our hospital from December 2015 to December
2017 for the treatment of C-shaped root canal system were randomly selected as the study subjects. These
subjects were randomly divided into control group and observation group. The patients in the control group
received the routine treatment while the patients in the observation group were treated with microscopic
ultrasonic technique on the basis of routine treatment. The response rate, occurrence of complications, filling
effect of C-shaped root canal system and review results after 1-2 years of treatment were compared to explore
the role and value of microscopic ultrasonic technique in the treatment of C-shaped root canal system. By
comparison, it was found that the response rate was good in patients of control group after receiving traditional
conventional therapy, but the complications were common. The filling effect of C-shaped root canal system was
good, but the efficiency was general after 1-2 years of treatment; In contrast, the response rate of the observation
group was higher after treatment and the complications have been effectively controlled. Moreover, the filling
effect of C-shaped root canal system was better and the success rate was higher after 1-2 years of treatment. The
observation group was obviously better than the control group (P<0.05). The efficacy of the microscopic
ultrasonic technique in the treatment of C-shaped root canal system is significant. It can effectively suppress
complications and improve the response rate. Therefore, the patients are well recovered after treatment and it is
worthy of extensive clinical popularization.
