Effect of pH on Linear Mycelial Growth of Mycoparasitic Trichoderma Strains on Yeast Extract
Trichoderma species are imperfect fungi, with teleomorphs belonging to the ascomycete order Hypocreales.
Some Trichoderma species are very good cellulase producers and therefore they are important for the
biotechnological industry. The agricultural importance of the genus Trichoderma is that some of its members
possess mycoparasitic abilities against plant pathogenic fungi, which allows for the development of biocontrol
strategies based on Trichoderma strains.
