Correlation Analysis of Serum IL-6, TNF - α and BGP with Estrogen and Bone Mineral Density in Postmenopausal Women

Abstract

To investigate the effects of serum IL-6, TNF - α and BGP on estrogen and bone mineral density (BMD) in
postmenopausal women. From June 2017 to June 2019, 60 postmenopausal patients in our hospital were
selected as the observation group, and 60 non menopausal healthy people were selected as the control group.
The expression levels of IL-6, TNF - α and BGP in serum of the two groups were compared, and estrogen and
bone mineral density were measured. Compared with the control group, the expression levels of IL-6, TNF - α
and BGP in the observation group were significantly higher, and negatively correlated with the decrease of
estrogen and bone mineral density (P < 0.05). Serum IL-6, TNF - α and BGP are closely related to the level of
estrogen and bone mineral density, and are negatively related. Serum IL-6, TNF - α and BGP can be used as
powerful indicators to predict the level of estrogen and bone mineral density in postmenopausal women, and can
quickly indicate the risk of postmenopausal women.
